KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Deepak Kumar Karki is retiring from Sunday.

Acting Chief Justice Karki, who is going to retire due to age limit mandatorily on October 2, is being bid farewell today in a formal program at the Supreme Court.

According to SC sources, the apex court has organized a formal farewell program to Justice Karki at 3 pm today.

As the court would be on Dashain Holiday from September 26 to October 9, Acting Chief Justice Karki’s farewell program has been organized on Sunday.

Justice Karki has been working as an acting Chief Justice since February 13.
