Justice Phuyal’s bench to hear writs filed against President Bhandari



KATHMANDU: The writ petition filed against President Bidya Devi Bhandari for not validating the Citizenship Bill is going to be heard in the bench of Justice Hari Phuyal.

Five writs were filed against President Bhandari in the Supreme Court last Thursday.

The writs have been kept in the number eight of Justice Phuyal’s bench.

The writs were filed against President Bhandari alleging that the President had violated the constitutional provision of validating the bill passed by both Houses within the time limit of 15 days.
