UML Politburo meeting fixes 11 agenda for Central Committee meet to take place on Friday



KATHMANDU: The Politburo meeting of CPN-UML has fixed 11 agendas for the Central Committee meeting set to begin Friday.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli presented a summary of his political report at the Politburo meeting held at the party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, on Thursday (today).

Chair Oli’s political report is to be put forth for endorsement in the Central Committee meeting tomorrow.

UML Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung said agenda for Central Committe meeting included preparation of the election, the swearing in and division of responsibilites of the recently inducted four Central members, the approval of the decisions made by the Secretariat, process of candidate selection, and probe into the incident of betrayal in the local elections, among others.

He said that since there was repetition in the number of 52,550 organized members of the party, the agenda of the meeting is to sort it out, submit the report of the advisory council and three commissions, and make the regulations related to the abroad committees.
