CPN-UML holding politburo meeting today



KATHMANDU: As part of its election-centric meetings, the CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its politburo on Thursday.

The UML is holding a meeting to formulate the necessary strategy for the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly elections to be held on November 20.

The UML has been holding a series of election-centered meetings, including meetings of the Standing, Politburo, Central Committee and the Central Election Operational Committee this week.

The party has already held a meeting of its Standing Committee at the party headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

According to UML leader Bishnu Rijal, the Politburo meeting will be held on August 25, and the Central Committee meeting on August 26 and 27.

Rijal also said that the meeting of the Central Election Mobilization Commission will be held on August 28.

UML has formed a central election mobilization committee under the chairmanship of party Chairman KP Oli.
