Husband burns wife to death in Kapan

Police nab accused husband



KATHMANDU: A husband has killed his wife by setting fire in Budhanilkantha Municipality-10, Kapan, Kathmandu.

According to Kapan police post, the police have arrested Prabin Chaudhary, 42, of Siraha Lahan Municipality-7 on Sunday night on charges of murdering his wife Asmita Chaudhary, 30.

Chaudhary had set his wife on fire by pouring turpentine oil on her body while she was sleeping.

The injured woman was rushed to Shusma Memorial Hospital, Sankhu, where she succumbed to death caused by the injuries.
