Massive fire incurs loss of millions of rupees in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR: A massive fire broke out at Kamerotar in Madhyapurthimi Municipality-5 on Sunday night.

The fire that broke out at the Greenware Sanitary Warehouse of Rajan Prajapati, a local, has destroyed goods worth tens of millions of rupees, even though no casualties were reported.

A team of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have brought the fire under control only this morning. Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi DSP Harinandan Chaudhari said that the fire was brought under control with the help of fire brigade and security personnel.

He said that the most of the chemicals, machinery and other items inside the warehouse were destroyed by fire.

He informed that the details of the property damaged by the fire will come only in the afternoon.
