KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stressed on building community level awareness on disaster preparedness and safety measures to reduce risks.
In a message given on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of Gorkha Earthquake today, President Bhandari said all three tiers of government have important role to build community level awareness and resilience in terms of earthquake.
She also paid tribute to those losing lives in the Gorkha earthquake that devastated Nepal on April 25, 2015.
The president appreciated the reconstruction activities conducted by the government since the earthquake devastation.
