CTEVT postpones all exams

KATHMANDU: All the upcoming examinations run by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) have been postponed keeping in view with the widespread of the coronavirus in the country.

According to Dil Bahadur Ghimire, Deputy Controller of the CTEVT Examination Control Office, all exams have been postponed till further notice.

He informed that the official information in this regard will be published in Gorkhapatra on Wednesday.

The council had planned to conduct the entrance examination of Biomedical Group on January 29 and the chance examination pre-diploma level on February 5.

Similarly, it had planned to conduct  regular and supplementary examinations under various programs including engineering, health and agriculture in the annual system and semester system from the 10th of next month (February).

Ghimire informed that as the situation eases, CTEVT will publish a new routine for the postponed exams 10 days prior to the exam date.
