Int’l footwear industrial expo from January 5

KATHMANDU: An ‘International Footwear Industrial Exhibition’ is going to be organized in Kathmandu.

The Footwear Manufacturer’s Association of Nepal (FMAN) is organizing ‘Goldstar 16th International Footwear Industrial Expo-2079’ from January 5 to 7.

The expo is going to be held for the first time in Nepal with an objective of promoting business between domestic and foreign industries and entrepreneurs.

FMAN chairperson Naniraj Ghimire said linking domestic products to international market is the main objective of the expo. He opined that the expo would help take footwear manufactured in Nepal in the global market.

FNAN vice-chair and expo coordinator Suraj Banjade said raw materials and machinery suppliers and buyers of national and international level would participate in the expo.

Booking for stalls has opened, added Banjade.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari would inaugurate the expo. Wholesalers and retailers could also visit the expo.
