Police nab three with fake Nepali currency

KATHMANDU: Nepal police arrested three people with counterfeit Nepali notes from Harnaiya Chowk in Adarshkotwal-6 of Bara.

The police arrested them with fake notes of one thousand Nepalese rupees.

According to the police, three people including a 21-year-old Ramsinahi Kurmi, a resident of the Adarshakotwal-6, Paterwa, were arrested with 340 counterfeit notes on Friday afternoon.

On the basis of special information, the police deputed from District Police Complex Lalitpur and Area Police Office Mahendra Adarsh found and arrested them with the fake note and 2 motorbikes with Indian numbers.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
