Prachanda’s possibility of becoming Prime Minister is nearly over: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s chances for the premiership are about to end because  he (Prachanda) did not take steps in time.

Speaking at the program organized by UML-Pyuthan- Kathmandu Sampark Manch in Kathmandu on Saturday, the UML Chair said that Prachanda expressed his desire to become the prime minister; however, his possibility is nearly over as he did not take the decision on time.

“If the decision is not taken in time, the rewards might not be as desired, it has to be decided on time,” he said.

Oli, who is also a former Prime Minister, compared the achievement to a mango and said that if it is not picked when it is ripe, it cannot be eaten or sold and it will fall by itself.

“Time consumes its juice, its fruit, its reward, its benefit. Yes, now it seems that his (Prachanda’s) chances are generally over. Because he did not take action in time,” he added.
