KATHMANDU: Chances of light snowfall at a few places in the high mountainous region have been forecast today.
The weather in Province 1, Madesh Province and Bagmati Province will remain partly to generally cloudy, and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Province 1, Madesh Province, Bagmati Province and Lumbini Province, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
Due to the influence of the western low-pressure system, some parts of Terai are covered with fog and mist, the Division said.
There is also a possibility of snowfall in the Himalayan region of Province 1, Gandaki and Karnali tonight.
