Election results indicate political instability: Oli

JHAPA: Chairman of the CPN UML, KP Sharma Oli, warned that the pattern of the election result shows the country can lead towards instability.

He said that the time has come to form a coalition government.

Chairman Oli said it while receiving a certificate from the election office at Damak in Jhapa after being elected a member of the House of Representatives from constituency no 5 in the district on Thursday.

He said the UML wanted stability in the country but the election result was just the opposite.

So, the political parties are facing the time to form a coalition government. It would be difficult to form a majority government in one to two years.

In case a majority government is formed, it would not sustain long, Chairman Oli observed.
