Emergence of Rastriya Swatantra Party is a trivial matter: Oli

BHADRAPUR: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli said the emergence of the newly-formed Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is a trivial issue, which does not need any attention.

“This is not a big deal to worry,” Oli told journalists at the Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa on Thursday, saying, “This is nothing but a hullabaloo,” Oli sniffed sarcasm.

He questioned the motive, agenda, and ideology of the party, asking, “What is the ideology of the RSP, what is its direction?”

UML Chair Oli said running a country is not a game. “The country cannot run by making noise.”

It should be noted that the newly-formed RSP has already won six seats, including four seats in Kathmandu.

On the issue of the number of votes that the UML garnered, Oli said, “We will analyze it later.”
