NC leader Paudel elected HoR member from Tanahun 1



TANAHUN: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel was elected the House of Representatives member from Tanahun constituency 1.

He defeated his nearest rival CPN (UML)’s Ek Bahadur Rana by a margin of 5,388 votes. He got 25,318 votes while Rana garnered 19,925 votes.

Out of the total 66,584 votes cast in the constituency, 4,000 were invalid, according to the office of the chief returning officer.
