Kathmandu police arrested 88 criminals in first month of this fiscal



KATHMANDU: District Police Kathmandu has arrested 88 people involved in criminal activities in the past one month.

Kathmandu police arrested 88 people involved in criminal activities in the first month of the fiscal year 2022/23.

Spokesman of District Police Complex Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali informed that 88 people who were sentenced to imprisonment and fined on various dates from July 17 to August 16 (Shrawan 1st to 31st) have been arrested and presented to the court for execution of the judgment.

The court ordered 11 years, seven months and 28 days imprisonment and a fine of Rs 41 lakh 91 thousand 322 from the arrested.
