Unity must in development works: Energy Minister Bhusal



KATHMANDU: Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal, has appealed for unity in the work of development of the country.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of ‘Pako Park’ in Lalitpur’s Godavari Municipality Ward No. 12 Thecho today, she said that since development is continuous process solidarity of all is necessary for it.

Even though we ask for votes in the name of different parties during the election, we must have one voice in the work of development, she said.

She also expressed the belief that the park built by utilizing public land will help in the development of the lifestyle of the local people.

Emphasizing that the park built for the convenience of the residents of Thecho should be properly protected and utilized, Minister Bhusal said the local residents are responsible both for the proper protection and enjoyment of this park.

The park that was built at a cost of more than Rs 7.5 million also includes tools for physical exercise for the visitors.

On the occasion, Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Rajkaji Maharjan shared that the park has been constructed to be suitable for physical exercise and for children.

He said that appropriate arrangement of CCTV and lighting will be made so that the park can be used 24 hours a day.
