KATHMANDU: Offering hope about the possibility of a slight improvement in the stock market, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rose by double digits on Friday, the sixth trading day of the week.
NEPSE index increased by 13.78 points and reached 1862.06 points.
A positive atmosphere has been seen in the share market after the agitating investors and Securities Boards of Nepal (SEBON) reached an agreement on the implementation of the 19-point demand on Friday.
Today, the Sensitive Index also rose by 2.81 points to 364.90. In the two-hour transaction, the turnover was Rs 1.15 billion.
Out of 13 subgroups, 12 witnessed greenery today. The share price of the mutual fund group decreased.
The share price of Nyadi Hydropower saw a positive circuit while the investors of CYC Nepal Microfinance, Life Insurance, Radhi Power Company, Manakamana Smart Microfinance, and some more managed to benefit from the rise.
The share price of Ankhukhola Microfinance, which had been continuously going on a positive circuit, declined today.
Kumari Bank Limited had the highest turnover on Friday.
