Results of 12 local levels remain to be finalized and published



KATHMANDU: Vote counting of the May 13 local election remains to be completed in 12 local levels.

According to the Election Commission of Nepal, of the total 753 local levels, the final result of 741 local levels has been made public as of 7:00 pm on Tuesday.

Although vote counting of some local levels were completed, the details were yet to be entered into the election portal of the Election Commission.

Vote counting continues in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Pokhara Metropolitan City in Gandaki Province.

Furthermore, results of Udayapur’s Triyuga Municipality, Katari Municipality, Rautahat’s Gadimai Municipality, Garuda Municipality and Phatuwa Bijayapur Municipality are also yet to be finalized and published.

Results are also awaited from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City in Dang district, Tilottama municipality in Rupandehi and Maharajgunj municipality in Kapilvastu.

The Election Commission is yet to decide about the voting taken place in Budhiganga municipality in Bajura district.
