Maoist Center directs lawmakers for active participation in budget deliberations



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has instructed its parliamentarians to actively participate in the discussion of the policy and program and budget for the coming fiscal year to be presented in the federal parliament.

At a meeting of the the Maoist Center Parliamentary Party held at Singha Durbar today, party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ directed the lawmakers to take active part in the discussion on policies, programs and budget to be presented by the government.

On the occasion, Chairperson Dahal briefed the parliamentarians about the objectives and goals adopted by the forthcoming policies and programs, said Chief Whip of the Parliamentary Party, Dev Prasad Gurung.

In the meeting, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma shared that the budget for the coming fiscal year has been prepared on the basis of the suggestions given by the parliamentarians.
