Gen Secy Thapa picked coordinator of NC election manifesto draft panel



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has nominated General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa as the coordinator of the local level election manifesto preparation committee.

The NC president’s nomination comes on the eve of the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting that will initiate process to select local election candidates.

NC CWC has been called for tomorrow (Friday) to make crucial decisions in the run up to the local polls slated for May 13.
