Maoist leader Pun returns home fully recovered after successful treatment abroad



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center leader Barsha Man Pun has returned home after undergoing a successful medical treatment abroad.

Minister of Youth and Sports Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj (Athak) received leader Pun, who is also a former Minister, at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday evening. Likewise, Maoist leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha, among others, also welcomed him.

He was taken to Bangkok, Thailand, last September for treatment. Pun was shifted to China after his treatment in Thailand showed little progress.

After a long stay in China in course of his treatment, Pun returned home after full recovery.
