Two women killed while extracting sand



BAITADI: Two women have died in the course of extracting sand for the construction of a canal in Dilashaini rural municipality-2 in Baitadi district.

The deceased are 36-year-old Tara Luhar and Mahana Luhar, 38, of Dilashaini-2, according to Ramesh Luhar, the kin of the deceased.

According to District Police Office, Baitadi, the police were not informed about the incident even though it took place four days ago on Friday.

Mahana is survived by his husband, three sons and a daughter and Tara is survived by his husband, two sons and two daughters.
