Maoist Center leader Pun returning home after treatment in China today



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Barsha Man Pun is returning home from China today.

Pun, who was first taken to Thailand for treatment of congenital hyperbilirubinemia and then to China, is returning home.

He is returning home on a flight of Himalaya Airlines today evening, informed his personal aide Santosh Pun.

Maoist Center has called a central committee (CC) meeting for February 10. Pun has staked a claim for the post of general secretary.

Party chairman Psupa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has said that the CC meeting will elect office-bearers including the general secretary.
