RSP candidate Lamichhane widens margin by 10,000 votes



CHITWAN: Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has maintained a wide lead of more than ten thousand votes over his nearest rival in Chitwan 2.

With 46.17 percent of the total votes counted, he has maintained a lead of 10,795 votes over his nearest rival Krishnabhakta Pokharel of CPN-UML.

While Lamichhane has got 19,968 votes, UML’s Pokharel has got 9,173 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Umesh Shrestha has got only 9,042 votes.
