NC President Deuba elected from Dadeldhura

Deuba's seventh win from his home district



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been elected with a huge margin from Dadeldhura.

He garnered 25,534 votes.

His closest contender, Sagar Dhakal, who contested in Dadeldhura as an independent candidate, secured 13,042 votes, according to the Election Commission.

Similarly, another contender, Karna Bahadur Malla of Nepali Congress-BP garnered 7,535 votes.

NC President Deuba had earlier won from Dadeldhura in 2048 BS, 2051 BS, 2056 BS, 2064 BS, 2070 BS and 2074 BS.

With this victory, it is Deuba’s seventh victory in Dadeldhura, his home district.
