Protectors and guardians themselves violating constitution: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the conservators and guardians of the constitution themselves were violating the supreme law of the land.

Addressing a party-affiliated organization’s program in Kathmandu on Friday, he added that conspiracies of regression had also not stopped in the country.

He warned of a situation wherein regression could return any day if one did not remain alert.

He said that the act of not certifying the Citizenship Bill was an attack on the constitution.

Appealed to the people to take initiatives to put an end to regression, he urged them to hit to the streets for the same.

He added some people were praying day and night to eliminate Prachanda, reasoning that he was the sole cause of instability in the country.

He urged everyone to be aware of conspiracies aimed at reversing the achievements of the nation and people gained through sacrifice, austerity and sacrifice.

Prachanda held the opinion that left unity is still indispensable for the development of national economy.

He said that socialism and economic development should be established through the three-pillar economic policy.
