Govt forms High Level Salary Facilitation Commission



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to form a High Level Salary Facilitation Commission.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also the government spokesperson, said that it has been decided to form a High Level Salary Facilitation Commission under the coordination of former chief secretary Leelamani Paudel.

The government spokesperson gave this information at a press conference held at the Ministry of Communications on Tuesday to publicize the decision of the cabinet meeting held on Monday.

He said that the commission has been formed to review the minimum salary, allowances, benefits and benefits of government employees and workers based on the economic condition of the country and the government’s ability to bear expenses.

Likewise, the government has promoted Joint Secretary Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi to Secretary.

Also, it was decided to appoint Secretary Duwadi as the Chief Secretary of Sudurpaschim Province’s Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
