KATHMANDU: Milan Newar is a rising singer in the musical field. The singer from Assam has made Nepal her homeland. Milan, who has given voice to more than 600 Nepali songs, is now on the list of hit singers in Nepal. Along with Nepali, she has sung more than 2000 songs in Assamese, Hindi and Rajasthani languages.

This singer has seen her bright prospects in Nepali songs. Milan, who has sung on many stages in the country and abroad, continues her musical journey according to the wishes of the Nepali audience.

Milan, who recently appeared in the video of her song, is participating in events abroad after the corona virus epidemic.

Milan Amatya was at the top of Nepali playback singing while singing ‘Gala Ratai’ from the movie Notebook and ‘But Slowly Slowly’ from Kali. She came to rise at the same time, when another singer Anju Pant had to slow down due to family problems. They used to say, ‘Milan took away Anju’s place.’ Milan used to say that she was trying to establish her own identity rather than taking someone else’s place. After all, it was her time. Goddess Saraswati favored her, she reigned in background singing.

Milan is happy in her musical life these days. She reaches different places in the country and abroad with melodious voice.
