One killed, 11 injured in Saptari bus accident



JANAKPURDHAM: One person was killed and 11 others injured in a bus accident in the Saptari district today.

According to the District Police Office, Saptari, a bus (Na 5 Kha 1898) heading to Katari from Biratnagar on the East-West Highway between Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-1 Koshi Barrage and Kankalini Temple met with an accident at around 11:45 am on Thursday.

According to Saptari Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle, a woman died in the accident.

Her identity is yet to be ascertained.
