Nepal sees 10 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 10 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases eight were detected through the RT-PCR method and two through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,768 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 2,233 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 535 through the Antigen method.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.

Currently, there are 133 active cases in the country as 16 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
