Mayoral candidate Singh widens lead getting more 19,456 votes more than contender

BIRGUNJ: Rajeshman Singh, the mayoral candidate from the five-party alliance in Birgunj, is ahead of the CPN-UML candidate Vijay Kumar Sarawgi by 19,456 votes.

Rajeshman Singh of Janata Samajbadi Party has got 39, 661 votes so far.

UML mayoral candidate Sarawagi has received 20,205 votes.

Similarly, RPP mayoral candidate Girish Giri has received 2,946 votes.

Similarly, Imtiaz Alam of Nepali Congress (NC) has got 25,059 votes for the post of deputy mayor. His contender for Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal Purushottam Jha has got 6,650 votes.
