Korean national found dead in Gorkha



KATHMANDU: A tourist has been found dead in northern Gorkha.

The deceased has been identified as Dongki Jong, a 64-year-old Korean national.

According to Gorkha Deputy Superintendent of Police Lila Raj Lamichhane, the foreigner was found dead inside his room at Dharmashala-based Larke Hotel in Chumanuwri Rural Municipality-1, Gorkha. He was staying at the hotel.

The body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for postmortem, Lamichhane added.

The foreigner had reached Gorkha on his way to Larke Pass via Manaslu trekking route.
