PM Deuba to inspect Tanahu Hydro Power in Tanahu tomorrow



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to visit Tanahu district on Thursday to mark his presence in various events there.

During his visit, PM Deuba will inspect the 140-megawatt Tanahu Hydro Power Project under construction at Jhaputar of Hrishing rural municipality-1 in the district, it has been said.

According to chief district officer (CDO) of Tanahu, Bishwa Prakash Aryal, Deuba is scheduled to interact with the hydro power project officials and instruct them.

The PM, also the president of Nepali Congress, will then participate in an event to be organised in the office of the Nepali Congress, Tanahu chapter.

Thereafter, he will also inaugurate the 8th Tananhu Festival to be organised by the Tanahu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Furthermore, the Head of the Government will inaugurate the newly constructed building for Hrishing rural municipality.

PM Deuba will return Kathmandu on the same day, according to the District Administration Office, Tanahu.
