NEPSE falls by 15.50 points to close at 2,720.43 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has declined by double digits on Wednesday.

The Nepse index dropped by 15.50 points to close at 2720.43 points. The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 5.22 points.

The transaction amount has also decreased compared to Tuesday. A total of 6,247,774 shares of 228 companies were traded through 48,911 transactions during the day, resulting in a turnover of Rs 3.13 billion.

As the market declined overall, the hydropower subgroup has gained 35.66 points today.

The share price of Dibyashwori Hydropower and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower traded at a positive circuit level. Shares of both companies rose 10 percent as investors’ attraction towards to these companies have increased.
