Cyclist killed in road accident

INARUWA: A cyclist has died after being hit by a truck at Bhantabari of Koshi-8, Sunsari Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Bharat Sahani.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar Karki, a truck (P2-03-001KH 2505) heading from west to east hit the cyclist coming from the same direction. According to Karki, Sahani succumbed to his injuries at the District Hospital, Inaruwa.

Police have arrested the truck driver Lasadorje Zimba, 54, of Parwanipur in Sarlahi district.
