Light rain forecast as westerly low-pressure system enters Nepal

KATHMANDU: Westerly low-pressure weather system has entered Nepal yet again.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has informed that this system is having an impact on the weather in the western part of the country.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and rain is occurring in one or two places, according to the Division.

Light to moderate rain compounded with thunderstorms is likely to occur in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki Pradesh.

Similarly, light rain and snowfall is likely to occur in one or two places in hilly regions of the rest of provinces.
