Price of cement down by Rs 20

KATHMANDU: The price of construction material cement has gone down.

The price of cement has gone down by Rs 15 to 20 per sack compared to its price 15 days ago, informed Ragun Maharjan, the operator of Mahabouddha Suppliers, Dhobighat.

The price of both OPC and PPC cement per sack containing 50 kg has decreased.

OPC cement costs Rs 680 to 780 per sack as per the brand while Udayapur cement costs 900 and Hetauda Rs 895 per sack, said Maharjan.

However, the price of sand and aggregates has remained the same. Sand and aggregate costs Rs 25,000 per tipper.
