Three killed, three injured in Okhaldhunga road accident



OKHALDHUNGA: Three passengers were killed when a Bolero jeep, which was heading to district headquarter from Gahate, was hit by a falling rock in Siddhicharan 3, Okhaldhunga Sunday morning.

According to DSP Govind Raj Kafle, the deceased have been identified as 7-year-old Yunisha Koirala and 10-year-old Ishav Koirala of Siddhicharan-1 and 30-year-old Hem Bahadur Magar of Manebhanjyang Municipality-1.

Similarly, Dev Bahadur Shrestha, Sanjeev Shrestha and Laxmi Koirala were injured in the incident.

The dozer, which was constructing a road in Siddicharan Municipality-3, hit a Bolero (Ko 1 Ja 3569) on the road at around 9 am on Sunday, police said.

DSP Kafle informed  that preparations were being made to send the injured Madhya Dev Bahadur Shrestha and Sanjeev Shrestha to Kathmandu by helicopter for further treatment.
