NEB decides to conduct SEE in Baishakh and Class 12 examination in Jeshth



KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has decided to conduct this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in the month of Baishakh and Jesth.

According to Dr. Mahasram Sharma, the NEB Chairman, the Saturday’s meeting of the Board decided to conduct the SEE exam in Baishakh (April 14-May 14 ) and Grade 12 exam in Jeshth (May 15-June 14 15).

“The examination schedule will be made public in a few days,” Dr. Sharma informed. He urged the students to start preparing for the SEE  and Grade 12 exam accordingly.

Dr. Sharma assured that the result of the exam will be published in time so as not to disturb the academic calendar of Grade 11 and Bachelor’s level.

According to Sharma, NEB has planned to conduct Grade 10 exam at province level and Grade 12 exam at national level.

According to the constitution, the Education Act stipulates that class 8 should be local level, class 10 should be state level and class 12 should be national level.
