Flights resume at TIA

KATHMANDU: Domestic and international flights, suspended due to foggy weather in the morning, have resumed now at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

TIA General Manager Premnath Thakur said although the flights were suspended for some time in the morning due to dense fog and smog, they have resumed regular operation now.

He said planes are taking off and landing at TIA at present with the dispersion of the fog and mist.

TIA management said the flights have been resumed only after the weather became clear.

It added that there might be some delay in take-off and landing of flights as some planes are on hold.
