NC’s Gagan Thapa close to victory in Kathmandu-4



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has maintained his lead in Kathmandu Constituency-4.

As of now, he has garnered 17,517 votes out of 37,232 votes counted.

His contender CPN-UML’s Rajan Bhattarai has received 11,948 votes.

Similarly, RPP candidate Dr. Thakur Mohan Shrestha has received 2,268 votes.

Thapa has maintained his lead ever since the counting of votes in the constituency began.

As many as 31 candidates had contested the election from Kathmandu Constituency-4.
