Dillibazar Land Revenue Office’s junior staff nabbed with a check worth Rs 1 million



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Home Prasad Khatiwada, office assistant of Land Revenue Office, Dillibazaar with a check along with Rs. 1 million.

Khatiwada was arrested by the CIAA team who arrived on the basis of information that he had demanded a bribe of Rs 5,000 from the customer.

CIAA spokesperson Shyam Prasad Bhandari informed that during the search of Khatiwada, two checks worth Rs 3 lakh 18 thousand 600 and Rs 7 lakh 50 thousand were found from him.
