Four people arrested with 6 kilos of drugs



DANG: Police arrested four people with more than six kg of drugs from different places in Dang.

District Police Office, Dang informed that two women were arrested with drug paraphernalia from Lamahi-9 last evening.

Other arrested are 40-year-old Sushila Giri of Ghorahi-13, and Ekta Pun Magar alias Khushi Pun Magar of Kotgaon, Rolpa municipality-6.

The police recovered 6 kg 360 grams of hashish from them. They were arrested by the police from bus No. 7 B 905, which was going from Tulsipur to New Delhi, India.

Acting on a tip-off, police searched the two women on the bus. The women had hidden the drugs by tying them to their legs.

Similarly, the police arrested 2 youths with drugs and brown sugar from Garahwa Rural Municipality-1 along the East-West highway.

Those arrested are Hirasingh Chhetri, 25, of Kapilvastu Municipality-10, Jagdishpur, and Mohammad Khan, 18, a resident of Wanganga Municipality-11.

The police recovered 113.46 grams of drug brown sugar from them.
