Action taken against 1,941 drivers in Kathmandu Valley for violating traffic rules



KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 1,941 motorists in Kathmandu Valley in one day for violating the traffic rules.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were taken action at different places in the Valley for violating traffic rules.

Among those, traffic police took action against 13 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 65 for violating lane discipline, 65 for driving on red lights, and 21 for not keeping number plates properly.

Traffic police took action against 1,769 drivers for other reasons.
