UML emerges victorious in Kathmandu-31



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML candidate has won in ward no. 31 of Kathmandu Metropolis.

UML’s Saroj Dhakal won with 4,767 votes. His nearest rival Prakash Rana of the Nepali Congress got 2,991 votes.

So far, UML has won in wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 31 and 32 out of the final results in the metropolis.

Nepali Congress has won in wards 6, 7, 27, 28 and 30.

So far, counting of votes of 13 wards including ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32 has been completed.

Similarly, counting of votes in wards 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 23, 24, 25 and 26 is underway at the Rastriya Sabha Griha, Exhibition Road in Kathmandu.

A total of one lakh 2 thousand 763 votes have been counted so far.
