NC leaders, including Janakpur Municipal President Sah, set to resign

JANAKPURDHAM: Nepali Congress (NC) leaders said they are resigning today after the ruling coalition decided to field Janata Samajbadi Party leader to the post of the Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city mayor.

Disgruntled with the decision, leaders including NC Janakpurdham Municipal Chairman Manoj Saha are set to resign from the party.

According to sources, they are announcing their resignation through a press conference at 2 pm.

Municipal chairman Sah is close to NC leader Bimalendra Nidhi, who is also dissatisfied with the coalition’s decision.
