President Bhandari leaving for Chitwan to inaugurate Expo



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is leaving for Chitwan today to inaugurate the Nepal Pharma Expo, 2022.

The Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal is organizing the Nepal Pharma Expo, 2022 at Chitwan Exhibition Centre until April 24.

Association’s Vice-Chairman and media coordinator Santosh Baral said the President is scheduled to inaugurate the Expo at 1:00 this afternoon.

Likewise, Superintendent of Police of Chitwan Nawaraj Adhikari said security provision has been beefed up after the confirmation on the President’s visit to the district.

General Secretary of Association Biplab Adhikari shared that the Expo would help expand the knowledge and technology being applied in the country’s pharmaceutical sector.

The organizers said there will be 160 stalls in the Expo including 123 from the multinational companies.
Likewise, different technical seminars would also be organized on the sideline of the Expo.

The Expo is being organized with support from different government agencies, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and other stakeholders.
