Military Welfare Fund reaches Rs 60 billion



KATHMANDU: The assets of the Nepal Army’s (NA) Military Welfare Fund have reached nearly Rs 60 billion.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the NA made the details of the welfare fund public.

As of mid-July 2021, the assets of the Fund have reached Rs. 59.95 billion.

The Military Fund has invested Rs 5.83 billion in various agencies. The NA informed that there is a cash balance of Rs 54.12 billion in the account of the Welfare Fund.
