KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 37 individuals including Chinese nationals from Old Baneshwor of Kathmandu.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu on Monday night apprehended 37 people including Chinese nationals on the charge of carrying out suspicious activities including bypassing calls.

“As many as 37 people including Chinese nationals have been arrested for their involvement in suspicious activities including bypassing calls,” said Senior Superintendent of Police of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu Sudeep Giri.

Police have also seized equipment used in bypassing calls.

SSP Giri informed that they are carrying out investigation into them. They have been kept into the custody of Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor, currently.
